Bennett is the only Jewish/Welsh Comedian on the Comedy Circuit. His humour is a cross between the paranoid angst of Max Boyce and the colloquial valley humour of Woody Allen.

His television credits include; Glee Time - in which he hosted a series of six stand-up comedy shows for ITV, Not Tonight With John Sergeant and Large - a satirical sketch show for the BBC. He also recently had a cameo role in the film Dead Long Enough with Michael Sheen.

Bennett has written for many comedy programmes, including The 11 O’Clock Show, V Graham Norton and Commercial Breakdown. He is currently one of the main writers on The Slammer for the BBC and Genie in The House - the highest-rated children’s sitcom on Nickelodeon.

Bennett currently has several programme ideas under Option with production companies.

He is a past winner of both the TAPS Comedy Writer of the Year Award and the BBC Wales New Writer's Award. However his proudest moment was coming third in the 1982 Boy Scout Disco Dancing Championship.
